Finally finished uploading most of the images. Will update the posts to add comments soon.

Also please read this blog from bottom up. Kinda forgot that earlier blog entries gets pushed downwards.

EH :)

P.S. I won't be updating this blog so fast. Gotta catch ZZzz for tml's wedding. Prob be back on Monday.

The Emotions

A dramatic image for the finale. Jen Yee and Alastair on the dance floor at Stokes Place.

The Dance

The Friends

A dramatic sky for a dramatic moment as the friends await the entrance of the couple. Raffles Lawn.

The Relatives

A quite moment for the family as they pray for the new couple. Raffles ballroom.

The Prayers

I love the look of the other lady, so curious at how pious the other lady is.

The Location

Stokes Place, London.

The Ceremony

I love this shot for the motion and the mood it sets. A soft glow isolates the flower girl from the rest of the crowd as she kick starts the march in. The Art House.

The Parents

The Father

Rachael, seemingly not willing to let go of her father.

Getting Ready

I just love this multi-layered image. The father with his worried look, the mother's attentiveness to the pastor and the bride in the background getting help dressing up. London 070707.

The "Sisters"

Door bargaining is always a chance for us to capture emotional images, especially when the "sisters" get the better of the "brothers", which is like 99% of the time. The only instance i can remember is when James entered Jenny's house without even paying a single cent. The sisters got so carried away with playing that they forgot to bargain for their ang baos!

The Groom

James on his way to pick up his bride, meets his father downstairs. The stark contrast of the two men dressed so differently.

The City Wedding

This is prob the only image i have that tells of a wedding in the city. Fullerton Hotel.

The Bride 2

That gaze, whatever's going through Rachael's mind at that point in time is something i can never understand. Prob only she will ever know.

The Shoes

I did not even notice this image until i browsed through my works again in search of images. A second look at it somehow attracted me to the soft tones of this subtle moment of the wedding. Shot in London, 070707.

The Bride

No this is not posed, period. None of the images in this exhibition are posed. I just prefer to take the images the way they are. Glory's eyelashes attracted me to create this image.

The Veil

Anne probably had the best location for makeup. This was done in a suite at the New Majestic Hotel which had funky paintings on the walls and 2 huge bath tubs in the middle of the room.

The Surprise

Ben and Naomi's wedding was probably one of the most colourful i have ever been to. It certainly is the most emotional. They had great friends who would do crazy stuff and the whole wedding's a blast. Off course they also had prob the most talented guests around to bring up the mood to, of which included Hossan Leong and Mr. Brown and tonnes of fly entertainment artistes. Oh did i forget to mention that Ben is actually Mr. Miyagi and that Naomi works at Fly Entertainment?

The Couple

I was contemplating whether to add this image in the exhibition and is prob the last image i framed. Reason being it shows very little but that is also the very reason why i chose it in the end and also why it is the first image of the exhibit. It speaks of all i wanted to say that Less is More.

And there was the beginning.......

For those who stumbled upon this blog and have absolutely no idea what this blog is about, its a record of my 2nd solo exhibition titled, yes you've guessed it, Books 2 Weddings. This blog serves as a means for me to express more about each piece of work exhibited and also to showcase some of the other works which i have not put up due to the space constrains.

Its 2.30am in the morning and i have just finished framing all the images and finalised the layout of the exhibition. All set to go to set up the exhibits tomorrow. The rest of the images will be up tomorrow once i set enough sleep.

:)
